Mudappallur, a small village situated near to Vadakkenchery(Palakkad Dist),Kerala adjacent to National Highway 47. Any body can reach from Palakkad Town within 30-45 mins drive or from Trichur town within 40-50 mins. The main source of income coming from Agriculture especially paddy fields. A good number of people are working outside of kerala and abroad, especially Gulf countries. The people are sincere and hardworking in their profession.
Mudappallur is famous for festivals. At any time you can find at least a festival. The important festival is Vela(Pooram) falling on 22nd of May every year in the Azhikulangara Bhagavathy Temple. Its famous for fireworks and traditional elephant march and all. Thousands of people will gather from adjacent villages to see the festival.
