Karukachal, the own village of Mr. K. Kelappan (Independence Struggler),Mr. K. Narayana Kurup, the prominent leader of Congress and Mr. Suresh Kurup(M P).
The first property of NSS is located at Karukachal and now NSS has got a Medical Mission hospital, Nursing School, Higher Secondry School in this first owned property. This property (100 Acres) was donated to (Late)Shri. Mannathu Padmanabhan (founder leader of N.S.S)by (Late) Shri.
